Aryna Sabalenka is grateful for all the kindness sent her way. 

Two weeks after her hockey player ex Konstantin Koltsov died, the tennis pro expressed her appreciation for the heartfelt messages she’s received from followers.

“I want to take a moment to say thank you to all my fans for your outpouring [of] love and support during this difficult time,” Sabalenka wrote on her Instagram Stories April 1. “Your kind words mean so much and I carry them with me every day. I am so grateful for you all.” 

Russian hockey club Salavat Yulaev announced Koltsov’s death on March 18. 

“It is with deep sorrow that we inform you that Salavat Yulaev coach Konstantin Koltsov has passed away,” the organization wrote in part of a statement at the time. “He was a strong and cheerful person, he was loved and respected by players, colleagues, and fans.” 

The Miami-Dade Police Department told E! News it appears Koltsov died by suicide while he was in Florida and that “no foul play is suspected.” He was 42 years old. 

Kendall Schmidt just added a new member to his family band.

The Big Time Rush member and his wife Mica von Turkovich announced that they have welcomed their first child together, a baby girl named Maple.

The couple shared the news in a joint Instagram post March 22, posting photo of Maple as well as one of Kendall and Mica posing with their baby girl. They simply captioned the photo “Maple” with a heart emoji on either side.

Kendall’s bandmates shared their excitement about the news, with James Maslow posting three heart emojis in the comments and writing, “So excited to meet her.” Added Logan Henderson, “Love this little family.”

Ciara Bravo, who played Kendall’s little sister on the band’s eponymous Nickelodeon series, chimed in with, “oh my god. Perfect.”

Kendall and Mica first shared the news of both their marriage and Mica’s pregnancy in November, with the 33-year-old posting a black and white photo from their wedding, as well as a video of Mica showing off her baby bump, captioning the posts, “Thankful for my baby.”

“He did bring it up, and I was so embarrassed,” Tate laughed. “I was like, ‘Please never bring that up again.’ But it was funny, he’s great. He’s the sweetest guy ever so it was very cool.”

Drake Bell Describes How Brian Peck Got Him Alone

Bell described Peck purposely driving a wedge between him and his manager father Joe Bell (who also appears in the ID series and backs up his son’s account) so that he could spend more time with the teen, who had a recurring role on The Amanda Show before he was offered his own sitcom, Drake & Josh, in 2004.

Peck would take him to auditions, Bell said, and then have him sleep over, saying it was too late to drive him back home. One night, Bell described, he woke up on the couch (where he said he always slept) and Peck was sexually assaulting him.

“I froze and was in complete shock and had no idea what to do or how to react,” Bell said, “and I had no idea how to get out of the situation.”

He recalled Peck being apologetic, but the abuse didn’t stop—and Bell said he didn’t tell anyone, not even when the mom of his then-girlfriend realized something was wrong and took him to a therapist. He admittedly believed that if he said anything, his career would be over. 

Eventually, he said he “exploded” and told his mother everything, and she immediately called police. Bell said that detectives made him give an “excruciatingly detailed” account of the abuse and then had him call Peck to prompt a confession over the phone while they listened in. Peck “just started a full-on confession,” Bell said, and was subsequently arrested on Aug. 20, 2003.

Morgan Riddle and Taylor Fritz are influencing the game of tennis.

The YouTuber and the athlete—currently ranked 13th in the world—have been helping to bring a younger audience to the sport since the start of their relationship in 2020.

“We actually met on Raya, the dating app,” Morgan, known to fans online as @moorrgs, recently told E! News. “It was during COVID. I had just moved to LA a few weeks before, so I didn’t really know anybody and I was kind of just hoping to grow my network and meet friends.”

But then, “I met him and I started traveling with him on the tour a few months later,” the 26-year-old continued. “And now it’s been almost four years of that.”

And while the Minnesota native wasn’t a tennis fan prior to meeting Taylor, she’s a total pro now. 

“I really came from a hockey family,” the Celsius partner shared. “And when I was growing up, I was not a sports kid at all. I was like a speech and debate, theater kid. Now I would consider myself an expert on tennis. I know every single player, I know their strengths and weaknesses, I can tell you anything about the sport, really.”
