Here’s Why Bachelor Nation Should Have Cameras Rolling at Stagecoach

Forget about the Bachelor Mansion. Keep your eyes on Stagecoach.

On April 29, thousands of country music fans will head to Indio, Calif., to experience three days of non-stop music. And while attendees plan their schedules to experience Carrie Underwood, Thomas Rhett, Maren Morris and other artists live, they also may want to keep their eyes peeled for members of Bachelor Nation.

Before the coronavirus pandemic put a pause on the annual festival, Stagecoach served as an unofficial reunion for many cast members of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette.

“Bachelor Nation is a pretty tight knit crew,” Robby Hayes exclusively shared with E! News. “It’s pretty normal for us to meet up and make sure we cross paths when we are attending the same event and located in the same city for a weekend. If we let the atmosphere and drinks get the best of us, well, I guess we just like to let loose when the cameras aren’t on! It can be a nice change of pace!”

Bow Down to Regina King’s Best Looks

The red carpet is Regina King‘s throne.

King’s talent has been evident ever since she began her acting career in 1985 on the hit series 227. By the time she won an Academy Award in 2019 for her role in If Beale Street Could Talk, King’s domination over the acting and fashion kingdoms was complete.

While the actress loves to sport a pair of Vans and jeans, she told Variety in 2018 that on the red carpet she tries “to wear what I feel comfortable in.”

No wonder King has been tapped to reign as co-chair of the 2022 Met Gala—which takes place on Monday, May 2—alongside Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds and Lin-Manuel Miranda

On a somber note, the Met Gala will mark the first public appearance King has made since her son Ian Alexander Jr. died by suicide at the age of 26 in January. King and her son had often hit red carpet events together.

Yes, The Godfather Author Really Fought With Frank Sinatra

Of course, this wasn’t the only moment from The Godfather‘s history to find its way into the series. Dan Fogler, who plays Godfather director Francis Ford Coppola and joined Gallo for the E! News interview, highlighted that Coppola and Puzo did work on the script together.

“I’ve seen it in behind-the-scenes footage for The Godfather,” Fogler shared. “In the series, there’s a lot of reference to that. Which is why we are seen working together a lot of time.”

Fogler called those collaboration scenes between Coppola and Puzo some of his favorite moments in the entire series.

The Offer does heighten this collaboration, however, having the director and writer hole up in a Los Angeles-based home to finish the script. In reality, for part of the process, Puzo would send drafts to Coppola, who was based out of the San Francisco area, and vice versa.

Vaping Witness? Inside the “Bizarre” Johnny Depp and Amber Heard Trial

Social media users were fascinated with a discussion about muffins as Dr. Shannon Curry, a clinical and forensic psychologist who was hired by Depp’s legal team to evaluate Heard, took the stand. When Heard’s attorney Elaine Bredehoft, in an attempt to sort out Curry’s testimony, asked the psychologist if her husband had brought the Aquaman actress baked goods on the day of her evaluation, Curry replied, “May I clarify what occurred so we can stop talking about the muffins?”

Curry went on to explain that she was running late that day and had asked her husband “to pick up the muffins for me” from a local bakery for the office, not specifically for Heard.

“He brought the muffins back to the house. I brought them into the office. Ms. Heard and I enjoyed the muffins together,” Curry said. “I think I made a comment to her along the lines of ‘my husband got these for us today,’ meaning he purchased the muffins we are now enjoying them because of him.”

The bizarre exchange led to numerous TikTok videos, with some comparing it to the “Muffin Man” interrogation scene in Shrek.

Meet the Players of The Circle Season 4

The Circle is back and a little sabotage has never looked so good.

Nine new contestants are set to play the game, where mistaken identities and knives in the back are all just part of the festivities.

In the season four trailer, Netflix promised the “spiciest season ever.” That’s really saying something given some of the insane twists and turns we’ve seen on The Circle before.

“We’re back, baby,” host Michelle Buteau says in the trailer. “This is the ultimate game of social media where players can choose to play themselves or catfish as someone completely new.”

Whoever does the best job of convincing the other contestants about their identity—or does the best job lying—takes home a grand prize of $150,000. Hey, who’s above a few little white lies for that much cold, hard cash?

“Not only am I buying us a house,” a player says in the trailer, “we’re getting a pool, too!”

The Circle is changing lives, people!

Elisabeth Moss Really Wants to Direct an Episode of Bridgerton

Elisabeth Moss wants to take a trip to Regency-era London!

The Handmaid’s Tale star is such a fan of Netflix’s Bridgerton that she’s angling for a spot in the director’s chair.

“I love that show. I even was gonna call them and see if they wanted me to direct because I would love to work on that show,” Elisabeth told SiriusXM’s Bevy Smith on April 28. “It just was completely a guilty pleasure for me. Completely.”

The Handmaid’s Tale offers a pretty bleak dystopian vision, so it’s natural she’d want to escape to the land of crumpets and love triangles!

While Elisabeth is known more for her acting—10 acting Emmy nominations don’t lie!—she’s no stranger to stepping behind the camera. She directed three episodes of The Handmaid’s Tale’s fourth season, and directs two episodes of her new Apple TV+ limited series The Shining Girls.

Don’t mention anything about the escapades of Anthony and the Sharma sisters to Elisabeth, however, because she still hasn’t seen the second season!

“I’m saving it like a little, lovely, delicious treat,” she said.

The Summer I Turned Pretty Finally Has a Premiere Date

Get ready for a summer of love.

That’s right, the highly anticipated TV adaptation of Jenny Han‘s best-selling novel The Summer I Turned Pretty finally has a premiere date on Prime Video: June 17. Which means we have less than two months until we meet Belly (Lola Tung) and find out more about her love triangle with brothers Conrad and Jeremiah (played by Christopher Briney and Gavin Casalegno, respectively).

However, The Summer I Turned Pretty promises to be so much more than a teen love story, as the streamer dubbed it “a multigenerational drama,” which explores themes of “ever-evolving relationships between mothers and their children and the enduring power of strong female friendships.”

And fans of the book series should be excited for the tome’s transition to the small screen. Why? Well, because Han is serving as a co-showrunner and wrote the pilot episode.

In addition to Tung, Briney and Casalegno, The Summer I Turned Pretty stars Jackie Chung, Rachel Blanchard, Sean Kaufman, Alfredo Narciso, Minnie Mills, Colin Ferguson and Tom Everett Scott

Inside Chelsea Handler’s E! Photo Shoot

What has Chelsea Handler been up to lately? Well, this.

Back in March, when she shot her E! digital cover, the comedian was joined by the most charming entourage—comprised mainly of her boyfriend Jo Koy and her two dogs, Bert and Beatrice. And in true Handler fashion, the 47-year-old had the most hilarious observation after the photo shoot, which took place at her rental home in Beverly Hills.

Remarking on a cover she shares with her pup Bert, she quipped, “You’ll notice that I’m trapping him in my arms—because that’s what I have to do if I want to cuddle.”

“As demoralizing as that is, I’ve grown used to it,” she added, “and so has he.”

But her man Jo was a different story. Throughout the day, the 50-year-old comic helped direct Handler from behind the camera as photographer Mike Rosenthal snapped shots. At one point, Jo jumped in to wipe the bottom of Handler’s feet when she sat barefoot on a couch for a pic.

Travis Barker Visited Robert Sr.’s Grave Before Proposing to Kourtney

Some gestures are simply priceless.

In the April 28 episode of Hulu’s The Kardashians, the family gave fans an up-close-and-personal look at the days leading up to Travis Barker proposing to Kourtney Kardashian (which happened in epic fashion last October).

And in addition to pulling out all the stops, Kris Jenner revealed that before her future son-in-law popped the question, he made sure to involve another special person close to Kourtney: her late father, Robert Kardashian, Sr. The high powered lawyer, who became a household name during the O.J. Simpson trial, died of esophageal cancer in 2003 at the age of 59.

“He asked for her hand in marriage, and I was like, literally, I want to cry now,” Kris told Kim Kardashian during the episode. “It was so sweet and so tender. And then he said he went to your dad’s grave and asked your dad [for permission], and I just lost it.”
