It’s Ana de Armas like you’ve never seen her before.

On June 16, Netflix released the first trailer for its upcoming film Blonde, starring the actress as Marilyn Monroe. Ana, a natural brunette, sports the late Hollywood icon’s trademark platinum blond hairstyle.

The trailer also shows Ana re-enacting Marilyn’s most iconic movie scenes, like wearing a white halter dress, with air from a subway vent sending her skirt billowing above her knees. Another features Ana as the late star in her strapless pink gown, singing “Diamonds Are a Girl’s Best Friend” onstage in Gentlemen Prefer Blondes.

The new film is based on Joyce Carol Oates‘ historical fiction novel and also stars Adrien Brody, Bobby Cannavale and Julianne Nicholson.

“Blonde boldly reimagines the complicated life of icon Marilyn Monroe,” Netflix’s synopsis notes. “Blurring the lines of fact and fiction, the film artfully explores the tension between her public and private life.”

Whether it’s through discussions about the town’s land rights or the items displayed in Reagan’s Minishonka Cultural Center, actor Dustin Milligan—who plays Regan’s ex, Josh Carter—said the show emphasizes the importance of presenting Indigenous stories to new audiences.

“There’s a lot of things that are very current about what we talk about on this show,” Milligan told E! News, including how many Native Americans struggle to find a balance between traditional practices and modern-day life. 

He continued, “I think it’s just such a wonderful way to be introduced and exposed to these stories, and just have it be seen in a modern current lens and not a monolithic kind of way where you just see how many different voices, how many different stories there are to tell, and still to be told. It’s very unique and it’s something that I think we’re really lucky to be a part of.”

Season two of Rutherford Falls premieres June 16 on Peacock.

Our long national nightmare is over—Pete Davidson has finally participated in filming a scene for The Kardashians.

It took until the season finale of the brood’s Hulu show, but the disembodied voice of Kim Kardashian‘s boyfriend made itself heard in the June 16 episode—and it was worth the wait.

In a post-credits scene, Kim gives a shout-out to audio supervisor Paxy (a.k.a. Erin Paxton), who Kim says might know her more intimately than anybody.

“You have to meet Paxy,” Kim tells someone standing behind her and off-camera during a confessional. “Paxy has worked with me as audio 14 years from Keeping Up With the Kardashians. She knows everything about me. She’s probably seen my vagina.”

And then it happens. 

“More than me?” a familiar voice questions from off-screen. It is, of course, Pete.

“Not more than you,” Kim comforts Pete. “But she’s probably seen it.”

When a person off-screen credited as “Producer”—who we can only assume is Paxy—tells Kim that she hasn’t been privy to seeing Kim down there, Kim is surprised, saying, “You haven’t seen my vagina? We’ll get there. It takes time to warm up to seeing my vagina.”

And, according to Scott, Kim is a different person around Pete. As he quipped, “She says like young slang words.”

Kim and Pete began dating in November 2021, not long after the SKIMS founder hosted Saturday Night Live. As Kim revealed in the June 2 episode of The Kardashians, her interest in Pete grew after they shared an on-screen kiss during an Aladdin-theme sketch. Oh, and those “BDE” rumors didn’t hurt either.

“I did SNL and then when we kissed in a scene, it was just a vibe,” Kim explained, before revealing that she then asked a SNL producer for Pete’s number. “I wasn’t even thinking like ‘Oh my god I’m gonna be in a relationship with him.’ I was just thinking…I heard about this BDE. I need to get out there…I was just basically DTF.”

The rest, as they say, was history.

Khloe Kardashian is sharing her honest thoughts on Tristan Thompson‘s paternity lawsuit.

In the June 16 season finale of Hulu’s The Kardashians, the Good American founder, 37, learned that the NBA star was expecting his third child after he was sued by Maralee Nichols for pregnancy and child-related expenses in December. (Tristan welcomed a baby boy that same month.)

Sharing her initial shock, Khloe asked Kim Kardashian, “What the f–k is this?” As her sister explained what was happening over the phone, Khloe added, “Oh my god. This cannot be happening.” 

In his own legal filings, Tristan acknowledged that he had slept with Maralee on his 30th birthday in March 2021. Khloe and Tristan, who share 4-year-old daughter True Thompson, were dating at the time but ultimately went their separate ways that June.  

Throughout the episode, Khloe processed her grief in multiple confessionals and conversations with her family members including Kim, Kendall Jenner and Scott Disick. “It’s time to walk away and I don’t feel guilty about it,” Khloe explained. “I tried so hard.” 

North West‘s birthday plans have gone anything but south.

Celebrating her big day with an anime-themed party on June 12, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West‘s daughter officially turned 9 years old on June 15. While not everyone was in attendance at her weekend festivities, the Kardashian-Jenner family wasted no time sending sweet wishes to the birthday girl on social media today.

When it comes to her grandkids’ birthdays, grandma Kris Jenner never misses a beat, as she posted a heartfelt tribute to her third grandchild on Instagram. “Happy 9th birthday to my beautiful granddaughter North!!!! I can’t believe how fast you are growing up!” she captioned her post, which featured several pics of North over the years.

Kris’ caption continued, “I can’t believe how fast you are growing up! You are such an amazing young lady, an amazing daughter, granddaughter, sister, cousin, friend and the most fabulous stylist extraordinaire! You are so kind, smart, creative, clever, funny and quite the athlete!!”
