Country star Toby Keith is battling stomach cancer.

In a statement posted on his verified Twitter and Instagram accounts, the “Red Solo Cup” singer, 60, said he was diagnosed with the disease last fall and has been receiving various treatments.

“I’ve spent the last six months receiving chemotherapy, radiation and surgery,” he shared on June 12. “So far, so good. I need time to breathe, recover and relax. I am looking forward to spending this time with my family. But I will see the fans sooner than later. I can’t wait.”

Following the heartbreaking announcement, the Ohio State Fair tweeted that the musician’s scheduled performance on July 28 had been canceled. According to Keith’s official website, he is due to play the Ribfest in Illinois on June 17. 

Nearly a decade ago, Keith went under the knife for gallbladder surgery and was forced to cancel several of his concerts. The Oklahoma native had his operation in July 2012 after experiencing severe pain for an unknown amount of time.

Roddy Ricch has found himself in legal trouble.  

On June 11, the rapper, real name Rodrick Moore, was arrested and charged with multiple firearm offenses just hours before he was scheduled to perform at the popular music festival Governor’s Ball in New York City. 

The 23-year-old was arrested alongside two other individuals at around 6:40 p.m. on Saturday after police responded to a call about a firearm inside a vehicle at Citi Field, a New York Police Department spokesperson told E! News. 

Officers were notified that a private security company working at the arena had spotted a firearm in a vehicle entering a secure location of the venue, the rep said. Police found three men inside the vehicle, including Ricch, and arrested them. The officers also discovered a loaded firearm with nine rounds of ammunition, as well a large capacity magazine.

Ricch and the other two men were charged with criminal possession of a weapon, possession of a large capacity ammunition feeding device and unlawful possession of an ammunition feeding device.  

Rebel Wilson is getting the last word.

After a columnist drew criticism online after revealing the newspaper he works for reached out for comment from the actress about her relationship with girlfriend Ramona Agruma before she revealed their romance publicly, Wilson took to Twitter on June 12 to respond to one of her supporters.

“Thanks for your comments,” she tweeted to another Australian journalist Kate Doak who expressed her support for the Pitch Perfect star. “it was a very hard situation but trying to handle it with grace.”

Doak responded, “You are most welcome, Rebel. Both Ramona and yourself be kind to yourselves and take things at your own pace. I’ve done my best to be an honest educator, so it hurts massively to see this happen today. Any time you ever want to talk, give me a shout.”

In an opinion piece published in the Sydney Morning Herald on June 10, private columnist Andrew Hornery wrote, “It was an abundance of caution and respect that this media outlet emailed Rebel Wilson’s representatives on Thursday morning, giving her two days to comment on her new relationship with another woman, LA leisure wear designer Ramona Agruma, before publishing a single word. Big mistake. Wilson opted to gazump the story.”

Like stepfather, like son!

On June 12, Kourtney Kardashian shared on Instagram three photos of her youngest son Reign Disick, 7, sporting a freshly shaved mohawk. His look brings to mind the hairstyle the reality star’s new husband Travis Barker famously sported in the early ’00s as the drummer rose to fame with the rock band Blink-182.

Kourtney captioned her post with emojis of a razor and a devil’s horns, or “rock on” gesture. One fan commented, “A mini Travis in the making lol…that little Mohawk.”

Travis liked the post, as did Kim Kardashian, Kris Jenner and Scott Disick—Kourtney’s ex and Reign’s dad.

“Landon had this haircut as a kid too omggggg that’s so cute,” another user commented, referring to Travis’ eldest son, now 18.

Reign, Kourtney’s third child with Scott, has sported a similar hairstyle before. He first debuted a mohawk haircut in September 2020 before shaving it off in March 2021, three months after his mom started dating Travis, a longtime family friend and neighbor.

In May, Hiddleston told The Guardian that he hoped “Loki coming out as bisexual was meaningful to people who spotted it,” adding, “it was definitely important to all of us.”

Reflecting on his time playing the trickster on-screen, Hiddleston called the entire experience a “huge journey” and told James during their Variety chat that Loki had “changed so much over the years.” 

“Initially, we had so many different iterations of Loki. The costumes were so elaborate and I was wearing a wig and we were shooting in the summer in New Mexico and Cleveland,” he shared. “I was always trying to break out of the mask—let something honest come through. You build the character, you build the exterior and then you have express something through the mask, in a way.”  

So, when it came time to film the television series, the actor attempted to break through as many barriers as he could to get to the heart of the character.   

“One of my big things going in was like, I’m going to grow my hair and I’m going to dye it,” he said. “It’s just going to be as natural as it can be so I can spend all my time investigating the interiority rather than just saying, ‘I think everyone knows who the character is now.'” 

Instead, he added, “Let’s open him up, go deep, and find new aspects of him and challenge the character to change and grow. I loved it. It was really fun.” 

Taylor Swift‘s fans know all too well that the singer-songwriter keeps her plans on the down-low.  

However, the “All Too Well” singer, 32, teased the possibility of writing and directing another project during a rare appearance at the Tribeca Film Festival on June 11.  

“It would be so fantastic to write and direct something, you know, a feature,” she explained. “I don’t see it being bigger in terms of scale. I loved making a film that was so intimate and with a crew that was relatively small and just a really solid crew of people that I trusted.” 

In addition to screening her short film All Too Well, Taylor held a Q&A at the Beacon Theater with director Mike Mills, where she shared her initial apprehensions about stepping into the role of director when she “didn’t go to school to do that,” per Variety.  

Upon learning that Mike similarly hadn’t attended film school, she added, “That makes me feel better. Don’t you feel like it’s an amazing exercise in trusting gut instinct? There are so many decisions you have to make. Saying ‘I don’t know’ really isn’t an option most of the time.” 

The newlyweds have a new baby coming soon. 

Two months after Jenna Compono and Zach Nichols had their official dream wedding, The Challenge stars exclusively confirmed to E! News that they are expecting baby No. 2. 

“I was ecstatic, extremely excited and overjoyed,” Zach shared with E! News when recalling his reaction to the news. “I want my kids close in age like my siblings are. It’s like having a built in best friend. The only bad part is that it happened on the first try again, I was trying to get a little more action.”

The couple is already parents to 9-month-old Anthony Nichols who has developed a large following on social media.

For Jenna, she’s feeling great thus far in her second pregnancy and hasn’t gotten sick just yet.

“I am continuing my everyday routine and being able to make it to the gym, which keeps me happy,” she said. “I feel like my body knows what to do this time and I am more prepared on how this pregnancy journey goes. A lot less wonders and questions that’s for sure!”

Taylor Swift didn’t just bless fans with the 10-minute version of “All Too Well,” she brought her words to life with All Too Well: The Short Film. The Grammy winner sat down at the Tribeca Film Festival on June 11 for a screening and Q&A session about the short film. Taylor explained the ending of the short film and why we never saw the reaction to Dylan O’Brien’s Him in those final moments.

“I didn’t want us to see his face as he’s walking away because I wanted us to wonder, was he happy? Was he just seeing if she was okay? Was he about to walk in? Was he leaving thinking it’s time to leave well enough alone? That I’ve put her through enough? We will always wonder. We will never know,” Taylor revealed.

Ten years after the breakup between Her and Him, played by Sadie Sink and Dylan, the Teen Wolf alum’s character shows up at a book reading for Sadie’s Her. He’s wearing the red scarf she left at his house all those years ago, and he watches from the outside as she reads an excerpt of her debut novel All Too Well, which is about their brief but passionate relationship. The relationship at the center of “All Too Well” has long been rumored to be about Taylor’s ex Jake Gyllenhaal.

“The ending scene where he’s looking through a window, that’s for me where he becomes I think fully a protagonist because we can all relate to being on the outside, again, having regrets,” Taylor explained. The singer went on to say that Dylan was the perfect choice for the role of Him because he “has this electric charisma that this character needed to be able to get away with all the gaslighting.”

Taylor also revealed that there were hints sprinkled in about Sadie’s Her being a writer. She pointed out that the moment when Sadie’s Her tells Dylan’s Him that she feels like she made him up in the short film “foreshadows the fact that one day she will write a book and she will sort of fictionalize his character into a main character in her novel.”
