Honest, there’s a new Abe!

Midnight Mass star Hamish Linklater has been cast as President Abraham Lincoln in Apple TV+’s upcoming series Manhunt, based on Lincoln’s assassination, E! News confirms. American Crime star Lili Taylor will play Mary Lincoln.

Described as “part historical fiction, part conspiracy thriller,” according to Apple TV+, the series will “take audiences into the aftermath of the first American Presidential assassination and the fight to preserve and protect the ideals that were the foundation of Lincoln’s Reconstruction plans—issues that reverberate into the present day.”

Manhunt will also shine a light on many individuals whose stories have rarely been told.

“The series strongly features Black historical figures whose lives intertwined with the escape, manhunt, and subsequent high-crimes investigation,” says the streamer, “including Mary Simms, a former slave of the doctor who treated [John Wilkes] Booth‘s injury.”

Greenleaf star Lovie Simone will play Simms, while Tony nominee Anthony Boyle will play Booth who is, of course, the man who killed Lincoln at Washington D.C.’s Ford’s Theatre in April 1865.

“I would have to say the only thing missing from my amazing birthday party was my siblings,” Hannah told the outlet. “I miss them and I know if we got to spend more time together, especially on our birthday, it would be more fun.”

She chose to celebrate her first year of adulthood in Miami because she plans to study business at a Florida college, according to Page Six. Her interest in business stems from her beauty and cosmetic line, Gosselin Girl, which she launched the same day as her birthday with a series of facial serums.

“I seriously can’t believe I am 18!” she said. “It feels like yesterday when my brothers and sisters and I were all together shooting the show! I don’t miss it, but I miss them! I’m really excited to be at this point in my life.”

She added, “I feel a certain type of freedom.”

During the Harry Potter 20th anniversary special in January 2022, Emma recalled being on-set with her childhood crush.

“I used to come in every day and look for his number on the call sheet, it was No. 7, and if his name was on the call sheet, it was an extra exciting day,” she said. “He was three years above me and so for him he was like, ‘You’re like my little sister.'”

Tom noted that he was “very protective” of Emma after learning about her feelings towards him while filming.

“Yeah, I’ve always had a soft spot for her and that continues to this day,” he shared. “There’s always been something that’s like, I don’t know, a kinship.”

The sun may have set on Jason Oppenheim and Chrishell Stause‘s romance, but that doesn’t mean there’s bad blood between them.

Case in point: Jason’s reaction to a new video that Chrishell posted about her “deep connection” with Australian singer G Flip, who identifies as non-binary, after fans questioned her sexuality. On May 10, the Selling Sunset star and Oppenheim Group founder showed his support for Chrishell, who shared the four-minute video to break down her new relationship and send love to her ex.

In the clip, Chrishell said she believes “Jason and I genuinely want the best for each other.”

And though Jason “didn’t have someone [who he’s dating] to speak about” at recent Selling Sunset reunion special, during which Chrishell went public with her G Flip romance, the realtor explained that her ex is “living his best life—as he should.”

“I know he’s living his best life and I want that for him,” Chrishell continued of Jason, adding her new relationship with G Flip “doesn’t diminish that we have a real respect and love for each other.”

During a recent episode Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, host Andy Cohen noted that the season finale of Modern Family—which aired April 2020—left the door open for a potential Mitch and Cam spin-off series following their new life together in Missouri. So why did it not make it to our small screens? Well, Jesse Tyler Ferguson revealed that while “there were discussions” to bring the spin-off to life, “the network decided against it.”

“That’s the first time I’ve ever said that,” Jesse—who played Mitch on the series alongside Eric Stonestreet as Cam—added. “I think they were just wondering if this was the right family to still tell that story. We had been on for 11 years, I think they were ready to move in a different direction.

And while ABC may not want to continue telling the story of the Pritchett family, Andy helpfully added, “Hulu needs programming.”

C’mon Hulu, pull through for us—we need more Fizbo the Clown content in our lives!

We’ve got some good news and some bad news.

We’ll start with the unfortunate announcement that Dollface is canceled at Hulu. The series starred Kat Dennings, Shay Mitchell, Brenda Song and Esther Povitsky as a group of friends navigating work and romance in their late 20s. The show’s second season aired in February.

Likewise, Prime Video’s Jack Ryan has reached the end of the line. According to Deadline, John Krasinski is currently filming the fourth season, which will be the show’s last. 

On the bright side, Deadline‘s sources noted that Prime Video is considering a spin-off series starring Michael Peña, who is reportedly set to appear in Jack Ryan‘s final episodes. It’s speculated that Peña would play another character from Tom Clancy‘s Jack Ryan universe.

And Courteney Cox will be there for you in season two of her Starz comedy with Greg Kinnear, Shining Vale, about a family that moves into a haunted house.

Now that’s a hulk of a necklace.

Kim Kardashian shared a photo of the sparkly new chain her son Psalm West received for his third birthday on May 9. The blinged-out b-day gift appeared to feature a string of emeralds with a giant P-shaped pendant.

This isn’t the first piece of jewelry Psalm has received. The youngest of Kim and Kanye West‘s children also has a huge gold chain. After Ellen DeGeneres mistakenly assumed it was fake during a September episode of her talk show, Kim clarified, “No, it’s not.” 

Psalm enjoyed his big day with a Hulk-themed birthday party filled with Marvel-ous details including a Hulk Hands decor wall, a super cake and a giant green balloon tunnel.

Kim posted pictures from the bash to Instagram along with a tribute to her son. “Happy 3rd Birthday to my sweet baby Psalm,” she wrote. “Your smile lights up the room and your loud laugh and snuggles are the absolute best!!! My baby boy for life!!! I love you so much!”

While paying tribute to Rivera—who died in a drowning accident in 2020—Dorsey remembered the places they used to go, thinking of the restaurants where they used to eat, the street where he lived when they met and the store where he used to buy her flowers.  

“I miss my exit as I feel like I didn’t blink for 10 minutes as my mind was wandering with so many flashes,” he shared. “The harder I think about things, it’s harder to believe. Un-fu*king-believable, still that this is reality. That this is our real life and I have to blink hard & shake my head as if to snap out of it & grasp the facts of it all once and for all. The thing about LA for me is its like every mile or so I drive is a memory of an experience that stings bc it’s gone.”

His mind then went to Forest Lawn Drive, the street that enters the memorial park where Rivera was laid to rest. While Dorsey noted it will always “bring the memory of two summers ago,” he also wrote that the “memories prior to that I have to be grateful for & our son.”

“So I have my time & my talk & shed my tears,” he wrote. “Talk about the dumb s–t that set us apart. Thinking about regrets & how life could be, but how it is. Then I have to go on with my day and…that’s all we can do is go on, go on while we can.”

Jack Harlow has a first-class response to his viral video with Emma Chamberlain at the 2022 Met Gala.

The rapper, 24, broke down the buzz-worthy moment during the May 9 episode of The Tonight Show.

In case you missed it, Chamberlain, 20, interviewed Harlow for Vogue after he walked the red carpet at New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art on May 2. After the social media star and the artist talked about his outfit (he was wearing a Givenchy suit while she donned a Louis Vuitton ensemble) and what made him most excited about Fashion’s Biggest Night, Harlow signed off in an unforgettable way.

“Love ya! Bye!” he said before walking away. Chamberlain said the same and then had a reaction you just need to see. 

“That’s like a piece of art because there’s so many ways to interpret that, you know what I mean?” Harlow said when asked about the clip, which has accumulated almost 2.75 million views on Vogue‘s YouTube channel. “Everyone has a different take on what was going through her head. So, I’ll leave it up to interpretation.”
