Natasha Bure Slams Claim She Gets Jobs Because of Candace Cameron Bure

Natasha Bure is setting the record straight.

In a new interview with Today, the 23-year-old shared her frustration with people accusing her of getting acting jobs because of her mother, Candace Cameron Bure.

“A lot of people will kind of assume that if I get any job or work at all that it’s from her,” she said. “Or it’s given to me or it’s handed to me, and it’s honestly quite literally the opposite.”

Natasha explained that she has worked hard to build her career, separate from the Full House alum’s legacy.

“I’m out here like everyone else just grinding and trying to follow my dreams and make them come true,” she continued. “So I think that’s one misconception that’s a little bit frustrating to see.”

However, while she’s made it a point to go at it on her own, Natasha does turn to her mom when she is in need of advice on how to navigate the industry.

Chrishell Stause Praises Song G Flip Wrote About Being Nonbinary

G Flip‘s new song is music to Chrishell Stause‘s ears.

On July 5, the Australian singer shared a preview of their new track titled “Waste of Space” on Instagram, in which they sing about identifying as nonbinary.

“I grew up uncomfortable, 11 years old and I wanted to die,” G Flip, 27, sings, “I don’t feel like I’m a girl nor a boy so where do I lie? / Have you ever felt, have you ever felt like a waste of space? / That’s what they say, I’m a waste of space inside my brain.”

Not to the Selling Sunset star. Chrishell—who went public with her relationship with G Flip during the Selling Sunset reunion in May—couldn’t help but praise her partner. “So so so so beautiful,” she wrote in the comments, “a voice to change the world.”

She wasn’t the only one blown away by G Flip’s performance. The Oppenheim Group’s Emma Hernan commented, “Your talent is out of this world.. Also you are the best space in ever [sic] room I’ve been in with you!!! #Strawlueberry.”

Daughter Recalls Final Moments With Mom Killed in 4th of July Shooting

Cassie Goldstein remembers her mom Katherine “Katie” Goldstein enjoying the Fourth of July parade in Highland Park, Ill. Only one of them made it out alive.

Katie, 64, was one of seven people killed after Robert Crimo III, 22, fired shot after shot into the crowd at the holiday event near Chicago. More than three dozen people were wounded.

Before the massacre began, Katie was happily waving to the parade participants. Cassie told NBC NewsLester Holt, “Every float that went by, she waved to them.”

When the gunman started firing, Cassie, 22, initially thought the sound was firecrackers across the street. “Then I looked up and I saw the shooter shooting down at the kids,” she recalled. “I told her that it was a shooter and that she had to run. So I started running with her and we were next to each other.”

Cassie continued, “He shot her in the chest and she fell down, and I knew she was dead, so I just told her that I loved her, but I couldn’t stop. He was still shooting everyone next to me.”

Danny Roberts Shames Real World Homecoming For Cutting HIV Talk

While Danny said he appreciated that Homecoming “genuinely focused on my mental health journey,” he argued it not only did a disservice to his own story, but also those that came before him.

“What I want heard more than anything is that this was a failure to honor their own previous work and Pedro Zamora,” Danny said, “which was so important and forgotten.”

Pedro appeared on The Real World: San Francisco in 1994 and became one of the first openly gay men living with HIV to be seen on television. Zamora died of an AIDS-related illness on November 11, 1994 at the age of 22, just hours after the Real World: San Francisco finale aired.

In a statement to the Los Angeles Times, Bunim/Murray Productions—the production company responsible for The Real World—responded to Danny’s allegations that the HIV storyline was cut, saying it “has never shied away from sharing stories around HIV and AIDS” since the franchise premiered in 1992.

“The Homecoming series ultimately focused on Danny’s mental health journey,” a Bunim/Murray statement said, “which he shared publicly with all his former roommates for the first time.”

Rihanna Is Now the Youngest Self-Made Female Billionaire in America

As it turns out, Rihanna does have her money.

The 34-year-old is now the youngest self-made female billionaire in the United States after amassing a net worth of $1.4 billion, according to Forbes‘ 2022 list. Her impressive milestone comes more than three years after the outlet bestowed the much-coveted title to Kylie Jenner, who is estimated to have a current net worth of $600 million.

According to Forbes, Rihanna—as co-owner of Fenty Beauty and holder of 30 percent stake in her Savage x Fenty lingerie line—is also her native Barbados’ first billionaire, as well as the only woman under 40 on this year’s list of female billionaires in the U.S.

Her net worth may soon go up, too. The singer, who recently welcomed her first child with A$AP Rocky, has been teasing that she has new music in the works.

“I’m looking at my next project completely differently from the way I had wanted to put it out before. I think this way suits me better, a lot better,” she told Vogue. “It’s authentic, it’ll be fun for me, and it takes a lot of the pressure off.”

Jan Cilliers Reacts After Men Charged With Wife Christy Giles’s Murder

Jan Cilliers says he’s ready for the truth to come out.

After two men were charged in connection with the murders of Christy Giles and Hilda Marcela Cabrales-Arzola, Giles’ husband shared that he is feeling “relieved” with the case’s progress.

“I am very relieved to hear that the Los Angeles DA’s office has committed to going forward with the murder charges against David Pearce and Brandt Osborne,” Cilliers said in an exclusive statement to E! News on July 5. “There can never be true justice for the deaths Christy and Marcella. Nothing will ever bring them back, and their deaths will affect the rest of our lives.”

He added, “The best we can hope for now is that the full truth comes out and that they are put away for the maximum amount of time, so they can no longer hurt anyone else.”

In a statement to E! News, Pearce’s attorney defended his client. “Mr. Pearce strongly denies any wrongdoing in these unfortunate deaths,” his attorney Jacob Glucksman told E! News. “It has taken nearly a year to file the charges because the evidence is so glaringly weak. The DA’s Office and law enforcement have had trouble locating any fire and just seem to be breathing a lot of smoke.”

It is currently unclear if Osborn has obtained legal representation and who can comment for him.

Andor Showrunner Explains Why the Series Will Be “So Huge”

Andor is about to flip Star Wars storytelling on its head.

The Rogue One prequel series starring Diego Luna, premiering August 31 on Disney+, is prepared for enough time jumping to make even the most seasoned stormtrooper dizzy.

According to Empire, the first and already-confirmed second seasons of Andor will span a total of five years—the first of which will be depicted during the show’s first season, while the second season will cover the other four. Each season contains 12 episodes.

Andor creator and showrunner Tony Gilroy said it was quite the feat of structure and planning.

“The scale of the show is so huge,” Gilroy said. “Directors work in blocks of three episodes, so we did four blocks [in season one] of three episodes each.”

Gilroy said the process of filming the first season gave them interesting ideas about season two.

“We looked and said, ‘Wow, it’d be really interesting if we come back, and we use each block to represent a year. We’ll move a year closer with each block’,” he said. “From a narrative point of view, it’s really exciting to be able to work on something where you do a Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and then jump a year.”

Anybody else need a calendar to figure this all out?
