XO, Kitty returns for Season 2 on January 16 with more romance drama from Kitty (Anna Cathcart) and the gang in Seoul—thankfully, a familiar face from To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before sweeps in to save the day.

TATBILB heartthrob Peter Kavinsky (Noah Centineo) reunites with his “chaos queen” just in time for her spring semester at K.I.S.S. He offers her advice—then again, he and Lara Jean did break up several times before winding up together at the end of the third movie (To All The Boys: Always And Forever).

The end of Season 1 showed Kitty caught in a major love dilemma—with five key players involved. Kitty breaks up with pen-pal-turned-boyfriend Dae (Minyeong Choi) upon realizing her feelings for Yuri (Gia Kim). If that’s not disappointing enough, Kitty gets expelled from school for living in the boys’ dorm all semester.

When boarding her flight home, she sees Yuri is with her girlfriend, Juliana (Regan Aliyah). All hope seems lost in the love department for Kitty until she’s unexpectedly seated next to Min Ho (Sang Heon Lee) on the flight home, who confesses his feelings for her. He even flies economy as a symbol of his love (insert eye roll). 

In Season 2, Kitty is ready for a fresh start in Seoul at K.I.S.S. She’s setting love aside, focusing on her classes, and setting out to find out who her mom “really was.” Her priorities may have shifted, but she does still have a lot of feelings to work through—including her discovery that she’s interested in dating women.
