New York Giants offensive assistant Christian Daboll, the son of head coach Brian Daboll, has resigned from his position and left the team to “pursue other avenues.”

The departure was first reported by Pat Leonard of the New York Daily News.

Before being hired by the Giants in February 2023, Daboll spent the previous three-plus years working as a student coach at Penn State University. In 2022, he took on the responsibility of signaling in the plays.

Daboll, a Buffalo native, graduated from Penn State with a bachelor’s degree in psychology in 2022. He also played lacrosse at St. Joseph’s Collegiate Institute.

The Giants will begin the search for a new offensive assistant, assuming they desire to fill the now-vacant role.
