Nemanja Bjelica could miss EuroBasket due to a reported calf injury.

The new Fenerbahce signing did not register a single point in Serbia’s latest warm-up game against Montenegro with European outlets stating that he was carrying an injury.

The news, first broke by Mozzart Sport, says the forward was hurt in a play where there was no contact and due to the swelling, it’s not completely clear how serious the injury is, but there are already concerns about the possibility of him missing the upcoming EuroBasket.

Serbia face Greece on August 25 in a vital FIBA World Cup qualifier, but they face the possibility that Bjelica might possibly face time on the sidelines.

Bjelica, a former EuroLeague MVP, returns to Fenerbahce having spent seven years in the NBA where he won an title with the Golden State Warriors last season.
