Billy Ray Cyrus and Fiancée Firerose Share Insight Into Their Romance
There are no achy breaky hearts for these two.
Billy Ray Cyrus and fiancée Firerose, who first met on the set of Hannah Montana twelve years ago but only started dating within the last couple years, recently gave an inside look into their relationship.
“It has been a beautiful whirlwind,” Firerose said of the couple’s romance while on ABC’s Good Morning America August 31. “I’m just so grateful that I get to live my dreams every day with the love of my life.”
In fact, the pair’s professional bond blossomed first as they released a song together in July 2021. And with the release of their newest song, “Plans,” Billy Ray says its a partnership that just works.
“We’re kind of like peanut butter and jelly,” the 62-year-old said. “I’m a left-handed, singer-songwriter from Flatwoods, Kentucky, and she’s a trained orchestral musician.”
Billy Ray and Firerose got engaged last August, four months after his ex-wife Tish Cyrus filed for divorce in April 2022, though the two had not been living together since 2020, per legal documents obtained by E! News. The exes share five kids together—Miley, 30, Braison, 29, and Noah, 23 as well as Tish’s two children, Brandi, 36, and Trace, 34, from a previous relationship whom Billy Ray adopted.
