Yes, Ben Affleck has seen Matt Damon‘s abs.
The Accountant 2 actor joked that he can’t go anywhere without being asked about his longtime best friend’s chiseled physique, which Matt debuted on the set of his upcoming film The Odyssey back in March.
“God damn! I just went to the premiere and every interviewer, they were like they found the secret of life,” Ben recalled on the April 30 episode of Travis Kelce and Jason Kelce‘s podcast New Heights, noting that interviewers at The Accountant 2 screenings wouldn’t stop showing him the photos of Matt’s six-pack. “I was like, ‘The one time he got in shape!'”
While the 52-year-old continued to poke fun by saying that Matt, 54, “worked out one time, and he’s out there flexing his nuts off with his abs,” but ultimately gave the Bourne alum credit where credit’s due.
“It looks good!” Ben confessed. “It ain’t easy when you touch 50. You boys will see!”
The Argo director went on to reflect on what it was like taking Hollywood by storm alongside his childhood friend when they won the Best Original Screenplay Oscar for 1997’s Good Will Hunting.
