Bachelor Nation’s Hannah Ann Sluss Marries NFL Star Jake Funk
Everything is coming up roses for Hannah Ann Sluss and Jake Funk.
The Bachelor alum and Detroit Lions running back tied the knot during an intimate ceremony June 26 in the Italian countryside.
“We decided it would just be us and to really focus on the commitment and significance of marriage,” Hannah Ann told People in an interview published June 27. “It’s easy to get caught up in all the glitz and glam.”
For the nuptials, the 28-year-old wore a strapless custom white gown featuring a pleated bust and train, accessorizing the look with a long veil adorned with a scalloped trim. As for Jake, 26, he opted for a classic black tuxedo.
“It’s exactly what I wanted,” Hannah Ann added. “I felt it was simple enough, yet elegant and timeless.”
While the milestone was an absolute dream, it wasn’t without a major game plan, especially since football pre-season was around the corner.
