Josie Totah and Karan Brar got the whole world changin,’ turnin’ around over this video.
After the former Jessie costars shared a PDA-filled TikTok Jan. 13, set to Lana Del Rey’s “Brooklyn Baby,” including the lyrics, “Yeah my boyfriend is pretty cool,” the Moxie actress clarified its meaning in a follow-up video.
“It was a joke,” Josie said in a stitched video Jan. 13, later deleting the original. “It was a joke. It was a joke.”
But while Josie—who played a small recurring role on the Disney series which also included Karan, Debby Ryan, Peyton List, Skai Jackson and the late Cameron Boyce as its stars—assured the duo were kidding, one of her other costars couldn’t help but egg on the relationship theory.
“IDK BABES,” Skai—who is expecting her first baby—playfully wrote in a comment, before clarifying to another speculative fan, “They aren’t together.”
Of course, if Karan and Josie did want to make their joke into something real, fans would be more than supportive.
“GIRL I WAS SO HAPPY FOR YOU WHAT,” one fan wrote under Josie’s clarification post, while another added, “It was real to me.”
