Arcane 4K Steelbook Edition Drops To Lowest Price Yet Alongside Season 2’s Netflix Premiere

Act 1 of Arcane Season 2 is now available to stream on Netflix. If you need to refresh for your memory before diving back into the superb League of Legends animated adaptation, you could either rewatch Season 1 on Netflix or pick up one of the recently released physical editions. And there are multiple compelling reasons to do the latter. Arcane Season 1’s 4K Blu-ray Limited Edition comes with a steelbook case as well as three hours of special features, and it’s on sale for only $35 (was $60) at Amazon. This is the best price yet for the 4K Blu-ray, which launched last month and features exclusive character art of Jinx.

The standard Blu-ray release also has a Limited Edition Steelbook with Jinx’s sister Vi on the cover. At the moment, the 4K Limited Edition Steelbook is actually slightly cheaper than the 1080p Blu-ray, which is priced at $35.72 (was $55). If you don’t care about steelbook cases and want the standard 1080p Blu-ray, you can get the non-steelbook release for $32.44 (was $45).

Netflix is releasing the second and final season of Arcane in three acts with three episodes each. The first act debuted on November 9. Part 2 will be available to stream starting November 16, and Arcane’s final three episodes will land on Netflix on November 23. Just like Season 1, Arcane Season 2 has nine episodes.

With elaborate and imaginative animation, production on the sequel series took a long time, but the second and final season is finally here. Season 1 featured a stacked cast of performers, including Hailee Steinfeld (Vi), Annie Award winner Ella Purnell (Jinx), Katie Leung (Caitlyn), Reed Shannon (Ekko), Amirah Vann (Sevika), Mick Wingert (Heimerdinger), Ellen Thomas (Ambessa), and Brett Tucker (Singed).

Set in the League of Legends universe–the massively popular video game franchise made by made by Riot Games–Arcane follows iconic League champions Vi and Jinx as they get caught up in the power struggles between the utopian city of Piltover and the oppressed underground city of Zaun. Debuting in November 2021, the show received critical acclaim for its storytelling, incredible animation, and getting that one Imagine Dragons song stuck in your head for several months.
