Anthony Davis reacts to LeBron James’ retirement consideration

After the Lakers’ 113-111 Game 4 loss to the Nuggets, James addressed the media, expressing the need to think about his basketball career moving forward. When asked to elaborate, James admitted that he is considering the possibility of stepping away from the game.
According to Dave McMenamin of ESPN, Davis, initially surprised by James’ remarks, recalled a recent conversation with him regarding the 2024 Olympics. Davis mentioned his potential participation, to which James responded that he might have already retired by then.
Davis clarified that he was referring to USA Basketball next summer, not the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles. James reiterated his uncertainty, indicating that retirement may come sooner than expected.
