Anthony Davis on talks about his up-and-down playoff performances

Anthony Davis bounced back after a disappointing Game 2 of the Western Conference Semifinals against the Warriors in which he scored just 11 points.

The 30-year-old power forward dropped team-high 25 points and grabbed 13 rebounds as the Lakers won Game 3 convincingly (127-97) to take a 2-1 lead in the series.

The Lakers superstar continue the pattern of a good game followed by a bad game, followed by a good game. His inconsistency has been the subject of many conversations among sports analysts and fans alike.

After the game AD was asked if he is aware about such talks and what he makes of them.

“I have not [paid attention to such talks]. I’m not on social media. My teammates are not talking about it, my inner circle isn’t talking about it. so I have not. Somebody just asked me this question in locker room and I said ‘This is miss or make league.’

“The same shots I I had Game 1 I had Game 2. I made Game 1, I missed Game 2. Same shots I had Game 2, I had Game 3 and I missed Game 2, I made Game 3. I look at this I just missed shots. I didn’t do anything differently. I didn’t change anything up. So it is what it is.

“I go out and try to compete for the best of my ability every night to help the team win and sometimes it doesn’t work out that way where went. Especially at this time of the year I leave it all on the floor and that’s all I can do.”
