Andre Iguodala named acting executive director of NBPA
Andre Iguodala has taken on the role of acting executive director of the National Basketball Players Association, as announced by ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski in a tweet.
He steps in for Tamika Tremaglio, who is resigning after less than two years as the head of the union. Shams Charania of The Athletic initially reported that Iguodala was under consideration for this position.
Iguodala, who officially retired last month after a remarkable 19-year playing career, made a significant impact, particularly in helping the Warriors secure four NBA titles.
