Amazon Japan’s Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Preorder Bonus Is a Fork and Spoon

Those who preorder Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom on Amazon in Japan will receive a special spoon as a bonus. If you manage to snag the Collector’s Edition, you get a fork as well.

According to Wario64 on Twitter, these utensils have the “Legend of Zelda” name and logo engraved on them. The spoon comes as a preorder bonus for the standard edition on Amazon Japan. However, if you want both the spoon and fork, then you’ll have to shell out for the Collector’s Edition. Good luck with that, by the way. The Collector’s Edition already seems to be sold out and is listed as “Currently Unavailable.”

Unfortunately, it looks like those outside of Japan won’t be able to get the spoon and fork. There are some other preorder incentives, though. GameStop is offering a free exclusive wooden plaque for anyone who purchases the standard or Collector’s Edition. In the UK, all preorders on the My Nintendo Store will come with a Collector’s Coin and Luggage Tag.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom launches on May 12 exclusively on Nintendo Switch. It’s one of the most highly anticipated games this year, and the follow-up to 2017’s The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, one of the most critically acclaimed games of all time.

In IGN’s The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild review, we said, “It presents a wonderful sandbox full of mystery, dangling dozens upon dozens of tantalizing things in front of you that just beg to be explored. I’ve had so many adventures in Breath of the Wild, and each one has a unique story behind what led me to them, making them stories on top of stories.”
