Aaron Rodgers gives fans relatable golf content, cranks drive right into tree

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers practiced on his drives ahead of The Match, and hit a tree right in front of him.

The NFL offseason may still be going on, but fans have the chance to watch four quarterbacks compete. On June 1, Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers teamed up to take on Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen in The Match VI.

Ahead of the golf competition, the quarterbacks took some practice swings. The Green Bay Packers quarterback decided to use his driver. On one swing he hit the golf ball…which immediately bounced off of a tree directly in front of him.

That is what practice swings are for. Because when the swings counted, the back-to-back NFL MVP made the most of them.

Rodgers did get off to a hot start, as he crushed a golf ball down the middle of the course when using his driver. That helped Rodgers then set up the birdie putt to win the first hole for him and Brady.

This past season, Rodgers won his fourth NFL MVP after completing 68.9-percent of his passes for 4,115 yards, 37 touchdowns and four interceptions.

Early on in The Match, the veterans have the bragging rights over the youngsters after the opening hole. Who will have the ultimate bragging rights?
