Taylor Lautner Is “Praying” for John Mayer Amid Taylor Swift Re-Record
“I first made Speak Now, completely self-written, between the ages of 18 and 20,” a message shared to Swift’s Instagram read May 5. “The songs that came from this time in my life were marked by their brutal honesty, unfiltered diaristic confessions and wild wistfulness. I love this album because it tells a tale of growing up, flailing, flying and crashing … and living to speak about it.”
Accompanying the social media message was a note signed by the 33-year-old, reading: “I always looked at this album as my album, and the lump in my throat expands to a quivering voice as I say this. Thanks to you, dear reader, it finally will be.”
And it’s safe to say Lautner’s now-wife, also named Taylor Lautner, will be enchanted to stream the new album. She revealed earlier this year that she’s an “OG” Swiftie, confessing on The Viall Files podcast in February, “Speak Now was one of the best albums of all time. Just the lyrics are insane.”
