Darvin Ham addresses Lakers’ loss vs. Nets
The Lakers were outplayed by the Nets in the first and fourth quarters — losing 16-29 and 22-36 respectively — as they lost their second game in a row (104-121).
Los Angeles head coach Darvin Ham thought that his players missed good opportunities to score and allowed their opponents to get away from them.
“We had some opportunities that we missed, missed some point blank shots, they got away from us a little bit at the three-point line,” Ham said. “Just have to go back and watch the film obviously.
“They’re a formidable ball club with Seth [Curry], Kyrie [Irving] obviously, Patty [Mills] had it going tonight. We just got to do a better job finishing quarters defensively and then offensively we got to make plays. It’s as simple as that. We got plays in front of, we just got to step up and make them.”
