Matthew McConaughey’s wife Camila Alves gives injury update
She’s going to be alright, alright, alright.
Matthew McConaughey’s wife Camila Alves provided fans with a health update after suffering a nasty fall that landed her in a neck brace.
Sharing a selfie on Instagram, the 40-year-old Brazilian model said she’s on the mend after falling down a flight of stairs.
“S–t Happens,” she wrote alongside the snap. “I am ok but… Don’t fall people…don’t fall…Ladies hold your long dresses up or lose pants up when going by down the stairs!!
“Wind blew mine as I was midair, pant fabric wrapped around my shoe and down the floor I went…A silly fall, turned into not so silly neck situation, recovery time ahead…” she added.
Alves struck up a romance with the Oscar winner back in 2006 after he approached her at a Los Angeles bar.
Speaking to Howard Stern in 2017, the “Wolf of Wall Street” actor said, “That night I spoke 25 minutes of the best Spanish I’ve ever spoken in my life. She spoke Portuguese. I don’t think I ever understood Portuguese as well as I did that night. I was focused. It worked.”
The pair began dating and got engaged in 2011. They got married the following year. They went on to welcome three children: Levi, 13, Vida, 11, and 8-year-old Livingston.
