There is a first time for everything.

While it may be hard to imagine Taylor Swift or Beyoncé as fresh faces in music, every single one of the industry’s biggest names had their first time attending the Grammys at some point or another. And some of those new faces at the 67th ceremony Feb. 2 could one day be just as legendary.

Back before Beyoncé was a record-holder for the most wins—currently 29—at music’s most prestigious award show, the “Texas Hold ‘Em” singer attended her first ceremony in 2001 with her girls, quite literally. She accepted her first-ever Grammys alongside fellow Destiny’s Child members Michelle Williams and lifelong friend Kelly Rowland

That night, the girl group—who sported coordinating Y2K looks on the red carpet and amid the ceremony—naturally took home Record of the Year as well as Best R&B Performance for their still-a-smash single “Say My Name.”

Seven years later, Taylor attended her first Grammys where she was nominated for Best New Artist. (Amy Winehouse ended taking home the prize.) The then-18-year-old wore a custom purple gown by Sandi Spika— wife to her old record label’s owner Scott Borchetta.
