New York Giants wide receiver Malik Nabers is among the six finalists for the 2024 Pepsi Zero Sugar NFL Rookie of the Year award, the NFL announced on Tuesday.

Nabers will be up against Las Vegas Raiders tight end Brock Bowers, Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Bucky Irving, Denver Broncos quarterback Bo Nix, and two of his former college teammates at LSU — Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels and Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr. — for the award.

Nabers was the sixth overall selection in the 2024 NFL draft and played in 15 of the Giants’ 17 games, missing two games with a concussion.

Despite missing two games, Nabers ranked second in receptions (109) and receiving yards (1,204) as well as tied for fourth-most touchdown receptions (seven) among rookies this season.

Nabers broke the Giants’ franchise record for receptions in a single season (107, held by Steve Smith in 2009) and recorded the second-most receptions by a rookie in a season in NFL history behind Bowers, who had 112 this year.

Nabers also had 14 games with at least five receptions this season, the most games with five or more receptions by a rookie all-time.

Per the NFL, the winner will be selected by a fan vote through their official website, and by the end of the voting period on Friday, January 31, fans will be able to learn more about the Rookie of the Year finalists on NFL and Pepsi social media channels.
