Thursday’s episode of Live with Kelly and Mark tackled the topic of “elephant style” — and it may not be what you think it means.
Kelly Ripa brought up the moving exhibit of life-size elephants, which made its way to Miami, and according to an article from Ripa, “apparently they are an aphrodisiac.”
“A couple got so excited about the unusual public art installation last week that apparently they decided to… uhh… make love, let’s say, on top of one of them,” she shared. “Which begs the question, how in the world did they get up there?”
Ripa, who saw the exhibit in person, pondered how the couple pulled that off.
“Don’t get me wrong, I’m as acrobatic as the next lady,” she teased. “But that, to me, seems dangerous and almost impossible.”
She read that a security guard “heard strange noises coming from the art installation,” prompting him to investigate, where the guard saw “a couple doing it elephant style.”
This led Ripa and Mark Consuelos to try out their own elephant sounds, as some real elephant noises began to play over the speaker.
Consuelos eventually asked where this took place, taking a look at the article and reiterating that the incident happened in Miami Beach.
“I think that’s called Tuesday and Thursday in Miami Beach,” he joked.
Ripa quipped, “You mean they would’ve just done it on the sand but the elephants got in the way.”
After Consuelos teased that “it gets wild down there,” Ripa added, “They were like, ‘This is a weird sandcastle. Let’s climb aboard!’”
