Watch Live: Menendez brothers at court hearing in bid to have life sentences reduced (Video)

Lyle and Erik Menendez are scheduled to appear before a Los Angeles court today at 11am EST, in which a judge may deem the brothers eligible for parole after three decades behind bars for fatally shooting their parents in the family’s Beverly Hills mansion in 1989.

Los Angeles District Attorney George Gascón recommended reducing the brothers’ sentences to 50 years to life, which would make them immediately eligible for parole.
