Knicks try to rise above NBA Eastern Conference tumult
It’s less than 10 games into the NBA season and the new-look Knicks have been … fine, but they clearly still are getting comfortable with a roster now fronted by Jalen Brunson and Karl-Anthony Towns, without Julius Randle.
The Knicks, who have started off 3-3, figure to get better and should be a force in the Eastern Conference.
But what is that Eastern Conference going to look like when the dust begins to settle?
For one thing, the crosstown Nets likely won’t be tied with the Knicks at .500.
