Courteney Cox Shares Message to Matthew Perry One Year After His Death
Courteney Cox is still there for Matthew Perry.
One year after her Friends costar died at 54, Courteney—who played Monica Geller opposite Matthew’s Chandler Bing in the NBC series—shared a heartfelt tribute expressing how she’s remembering him.
“Miss you today,” Courteney wrote in an Oct. 28 Instagram post, alongside a photo of herself and Matthew and another with costars Jennifer Aniston, Matt LeBlanc, David Schwimmer and Lisa Kudrow, on set of the sitcom series. “And always.”
The Scream actress’ post—which also tagged Matthew’s foundation, which seeks to help those struggling with addiction—came shortly after Jennifer also remembered her late costar.
Alongside photos of Matthew, herself and the rest of her Friends castmates, Jennifer wrote, “1 year,” with a dove and healed heart emoji.
Since Matthew died due to the acute effects of ketamine on Oct. 28, 2023, the Friends cast have continued to honor him and his legacy. In fact, Courteney herself shared a touching tribute to the late 54-year-old shortly after his passing, noting his impact on Friends.
