I have intense orgasms all day long — I can’t even work

It’s unhappy hour all the time for her.

Having orgasms all day long might sound like a dream come true, but it can be a nightmare for sufferers. A woman whose rare condition causes her to be spontaneously aroused claims that the ailment has become so debilitating that she can’t work and barely leaves her house.

“It’s not something you want to have … it can be very distressing,” warned the unnamed 29-year-old sufferer while describing her “anti-climactic” affliction in a viral “Ask Me Anything” post on Reddit.

The poor gal specifically suffers from persistent genital arousal disorder (PGAD), which involves “experiencing unwanted sensations of arousal in your genitals that don’t resolve with one or more orgasms,” per the Cleveland Clinic.

The sufferer can’t control when those changes begin — and orgasm doesn’t relieve them.

“It can be anywhere from a few like 3-5 (orgasms) to over 25 … one day I believe I had 50 though,” recalled the Redditor, who says she feels the sensation most strongly in her “cervix.”

She’s also noticed some telltale warning signs of an impending titillation, explaining that “sometimes I get panicky or dissociative. I get tingling in my genitals. And I feel like a pleasurable buildup deep inside.”

She added that she will “feel tingling in my clitoris and then it spreads to my rectum and cervix area.”

While the condition might sound like perpetual pleasure, the Redditor says that many paradoxically end in agony, making her fearful every time she feels a climax coming on.

“For me, it’s not sudden but it’s a slow build-up, and the build-up doesn’t always end in an orgasm, so I never truly know if I’m going to have an orgasm,” she wrote. “It’s intense pleasure that if it does end up causing me pain, it makes me nauseous and the nausea makes me more fearful or upset than the pain because I hate throwing up.”

The poster said she used to moan during an unwanted episode, but now mostly sounds like she’s in pain.

The spontaneous stimulations are hard to avoid. The Redditor’s relentless arousals have historically been induced by innocuous-seeming and random triggers, including wearing certain clothing, sitting on hard surfaces and even hearing a passing motorcycle.

“It can be anywhere from a few like 3-5 (orgasms) to over 25 ….o ne day I believe I had 50 though,” wrote the Redditor. pathdoc – stock.adobe.com

The Redditor said she avoids masturbating as she doesn’t want to exacerbate her symptoms.

Thankfully, the woman claims she’s less sensitive to stimuli now, but the condition has nonetheless made her life a living hell.

“I order my clothes and groceries and most of my appointments are telehealth,” she said. “I don’t work and I live alone.”

The afflicted claims she even missed her mother’s funeral out of fear of experiencing involuntary orgasms.

In fact, the Redditor has been so reclusive that she’s only confided in one romantic partner — her long-distance boyfriend, whom she describes as “extremely understanding.”

The catalyst for the Redditor’s PGAD remains unclear, however, she claims that it could be a trauma response from being sexually assaulted at age 9.

She’s also theorized that it could be a side effect of taking antidepressants on and off for schizoaffective disorder, an affliction that involves mania, depression and hallucinations.

Meanwhile, experts have attributed the ailment to various factors, including varicose veins in the pelvis, cysts along the base of the spine and abscesses near the clitoris.

Unfortunately, not much is known about the condition, which affects 1% of women, according to the Cleveland Clinic.

The woman claims she has been reluctant to seek treatment because she’s heard that “doctors respond either negatively or never heard of this condition.”

The public is also none too understanding.

“Someone here asked me if I can be around children and that’s probably the worst thing I’m afraid someone would ask me because they might interpret my illness as something much more insidious,” she said.

For now, the Redditor says she hides her condition by simply telling people she’s in pain during episodes — which is not untrue — while also seeking solace in a support group for PGAD sufferers.

“It’s too much of a good thing,” she said.

A Rhode Island woman previously revealed her own experience with PGAD, saying that “it’s not wanted — and there’s no pleasure” on any level.

“My vulva was constantly burning — it was like I was naturally aroused but I didn’t want it,” said Scarlet Kaitlin Wallen, 21.
