‘The View’s Ana Navarro Scolds Joy Behar For Claiming She’s Met Trump: “Hell No!”

Joy Behar should know by now not to mess with Ana Navarro, but the longtime co-host got a reminder this morning anyway. As The View chatted about Donald Trump‘s latest antics, Behar made the mistake of claiming Navarro and Trump had previously met — something Navarro wasted no time correcting.

While discussing last night’s Alfred E. Smith Memorial Foundation charity dinner, during which Trump criticized Vice President Kamala Harris, Behar noted that the former POTUS also couldn’t resist talking about The View, before playing remarks from his speech at the Thursday (Oct. 17) event.

Trump called The View a “stupid show,” while admitting he was watching the program just “the other day” and thought they should bring back former co-host Rosie O’Donnell. Trump also claimed to “know every one” of the co-hosts, whom he slammed as “bad news.”

Behar was unperturbed by Trump’s diss, and began to say, “Anyway, he’s met all of us except Sunny [Hostin]—” but was interrupted by a cry of “Hell no!” from Navarro.

“He has never met me! No, no, no, no, no, no,” Navarro exclaimed while wagging her finger.

She continued, “I don’t know what the hell you’re reading but I gotta tell you, I’ve lived 52 years [and] I’ve lived 44 years in this country. I have never shaken that man’s hand, I’ve never given him a kiss, I’ve never watched his show, I’ve never bought any of his crappy products, and I never voted for him!”

Behar replied, “Alright!”

After the applause died down following Navarro’s speech, Behar, firmly corrected, returned to her point about Hostin. She quipped, “She’s the only prosector he’s never met!” in a jab at Trump’s many legal troubles.

Hostin, adding a little drama to her point as she tossed her hair behind her back, agreed with a grin, “That’s probably true, although the interesting thing is, I have seen him and he has seen me, so we have met because I covered his trial in New York.”
