Chelsea’s Maresca & Palmer win Premier League awards
Chelsea pair Enzo Maresca and Cole Palmer have won the Premier League’s monthly awards for September.
Manager Maresca took the Premier League’s Manager of the Month award, guiding Chelsea to 10 points out of a possible 12, with three wins and a draw in four matches.
Chelsea beat Bournemouth, West Ham and Brighton in the month.

England forward Palmer was named the Premier League’s Player of the Month, scoring five goals and providing one assist in the month.
He necame the first player to score four times in the first half of a Premier League game against the Seagulls.
Chelsea are fourth in the early-season table, four points behind leaders Liverpool. Their next game is against the Reds on Sunday 20 October.
