Kristen Doute Shares Surprising Update on Stassi Schroeder Friendship
Kristen Doute and Stassi Schroeder have pumped the brakes on their friendship.
In fact, one month after Kristen got engaged to boyfriend Luke Broderick, The Valley star revealed she has not received a congratulations from her former Vanderpump Rules cast member following the September proposal.
“I have not heard from Stassi,” Kristen said during the Oct. 4 episode of her and Luke’s Balancing Act podcast. “I think the last time I heard from Stassi would have been on her anniversary when I wished her a happy anniversary and we exchanged some kind words. That’s kind of it.”
And, despite being BFFs for over a decade, Kristen has accepted that they’ve grown apart in recent years.
“I’m okay with that,” the 41-year-old noted. “I have a lot of love for her and for her family. I’ve said that a million times. That’s never going to change for me. We have a lot of history and she used to be like a sister to me.”
But there are no hard feelings between the two, who were jointly fired from VPR in 2020 after it was revealed they once called the cops on former costar Faith Stowers, who is Black, with a fake complaint.
