Giants survive ugly start to beat Browns, 21-15, for first win of 2024

Center John Michael Schmitz was evaluated after the Giants’ first possession in the medical tent. He returned on the next series.

Rookie defensive back Dru Phillips (calf) left the game in the first quarter and was questionable to return. Cor’Dale Flott shifted into the slot and Adoree’ Jackson filled in on the outside. Jackson also suffered a calf injury.

Linebacker Micah McFadden (back) was walked off the field by trainers in the fourth quarter but returned the next possession.

Wide receiver Darius Slayton (thumb) walked into the locker room at the beginning of the third quarter but returned to the game.
