Summer may be winding down but there’s still time for one more trip to the cerulean sea.

TJ Klune, who captivated readers with his 2020 novel House in the Cerulean Sea, revisits Arthur Parnassus, Linus Baker and their family of magical children in Somewhere Beyond the Sea (out Sept. 10). This time, the story centers on orphanage director Arthur as he welcomes a new child who forces him to confront his dark past.

Of course, Klune isn’t the only millennial-favorite author returning with a highly anticipated read this fall. Sally Rooney, whose novels Normal People and Conversations With Friends made waves were adapted into hit TV series, is back with Intermezzo (out Sept. 24).

In addition, Sept. 17 sees a slew of exciting releases as Laura Dave returns with a new thriller in The Night We Lost Him, Alexis Henderson quite literally brings some magic to dark academia with An Academy for Liars and Richard Osman takes a break from his beloved Thursday Murder Club with a new detective duo in We Solve Murders.
