Adoree’ Jackson visits Giants with possible reunion looming

The Giants might solve their cornerback problem by going back to an old hat.

Adoree’ Jackson visited the team’s facility on Friday, The Post’s Ryan Dunleavy confirmed, meaning the Giants could bring back the cornerback who spent the last three seasons with the team.

According to Jordan Schultz, both Jackson and the team are very interested in a reunion.

A training camp battle between Cor’Dale Flott and Nick McCloud to start opposite Deonte Banks didn’t appear to have a clear victor going into the season-opener against the Vikings.

Jackson, if signed, could ameliorate that issue, though he struggled in 2023.

At Super Bowl LVIII in February, he told The Post’s Ryan Dunleavy that he would be open to a reunion with the Giants.

“I think it’s like when you and your girl are going through a tough time and everyone on the outside is looking for your downfall,” he said. “The Giants are going to look for another corner and another team is going to look for a corner, which is me. I want to be there, but this is our break period. Technically I’m on the team, but my locker is still in the facility, and I go over there when I stay out [in New Jersey].”

Jackson was released by the Titans in March 2021 after Shane Bowen was promoted to the team’s defensive coordinator — a position he now holds with the Giants.

But, like the departed Wink Martindale, Bowen is a disciple of former Ravens and Titans coordinator Dean Pees, who Jackson played under with Tennessee

“If I come back, it’s all good,” Jackson said at the Super Bowl. “If I don’t, is it going to hurt? It will, but I know it’s a business.

“At the same time, I know what I can do and the services that I bring to an organization — not just on the field but being a locker room presence and different things around the community. I’m hopeful [to be back] but you can never put anything past anybody.”
