Ben Affleck ‘has not been in touch’ with Jennifer Lopez’s kids

Ben Affleck reportedly no longer has a relationship with Jennifer Lopez’s children following their breakup.

A source told People Sunday that the Oscar winner “has not been in touch” with Lopez’s 16-year-old, twins Max and Emme, whom she shares with ex-husband Marc Anthony.

“The fact that he has not seen her kids in a long time, it’s like he left,” the insider said, noting that Lopez, 55, is still “especially close” to Affleck’s three children, Violet, 18, Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12, as well as their mom, Jennifer Garner.

The source added that the “Dance Again” singer is “also close” to Anthony’s four children that he welcomed from past relationships before their marriage.

“She keeps in touch with the children and she’s a good mom,” said the insider.

The source also pointed out that Lopez often praised Affleck as a dad when they were together.

“[Jennifer] went out there and told the world what a great dad he was,” they said.

The Post has reached out to reps for Lopez and Affleck for comment.

Lopez filed for divorce from Affleck on August 20, which was the two-year anniversary of their wedding ceremony in Georgia that was attended by their family and friends — including their five combined children.

The “Hustlers” star listed the date of separation as April 26, 2024, confirming the breakup rumors that started circulating in May when it was revealed that Affleck had moved out of their $60 million marital mansion, which is now up for sale.

Despite being broken up with Affleck this summer, Lopez was seen spending time with her stepchildren on several occasions.

In June, she went to Samuel’s graduation ceremony but arrived separately than Affleck. Lopez brought her kids to the event while Affleck invited his mom, Chris Anne Boldt, as his plus one.

The following month, Lopez bonded with Violet in the Hamptons before the teenager went off the college at Yale University in New Haven, Conn.

Lopez also took Samuel shopping in LA earlier this month, before bringing the 12-year-old to Affleck’s rental home in Brentwood.

The former couple enjoyed special moments with their blended family during their time together, so much so that it was reported after their split that Lopez helped Affleck “become a family man again.”

“Family is very important to both of them, and together they were family people — and the connection doesn’t end,” a source told People last week.

Despite her close ties to Affleck’s family, Lopez filed to legally drop her ex’s famous last name in her divorce document.

She asked the judge to restore her name to Jennifer Lynn Lopez after announcing she changed it to Jennifer Lynn Affleck after they said, “I do” in July 2022.
