Jenna Bush Hager Scoffs At $600 “Pee-Stained” Designer Jeans: “Have 3 Children, Start Laughing, Drink A Lot Of Water, And Then Get That For Free”

Jenna Bush Hager was recently joined by correspondent Donna Farizan for a special fashion-focused episode of Today With Hoda & Jenna, but there were some fashion trends she refused to promote on the show.

During a game of “Slay or Nay,” Farizan shared that a pair of jeans from designer JordanLuca have been criticized not only for their high price tag, but for the stonewash stain splashed across the crotch.

“The jeans look completely normal except there’s a stain across the crotch area,” Farizan explained. “Online critics are calling them ‘pee-stained’ jeans. And they’re $600, are you kidding me?! And they’re sold out, Jenna!”

Bush Hager then pointed out that she knows just how to get those “designer” jeans for free.

“All I have to tell y’all, all I have to do is sit with Hoda for a few minutes in jeans and get laughing and then I can get that for free,” she joked.

She added, “Have three children, start laughing, drink a lot of water, and you can get that for free.”

Farizan laughed and pointed out, “Even if you have zero children it happens to us as well.”

They then took a look at the boxer short trend that’s become popular with young women, which Bush Hager was also not a fan of.

“In college, I may have worn those out in the street but now, nay,” she said.

Bush Hager’s usual partner in crime was missing from the broadcast Wednesday (Aug. 21). But they recently shared a rather awkward moment during the broadcast when Hoda Kotb accidentally let slip that she had a barbecue this summer – and Bush Hager was not invited.

 “I have had a barbecue at my house. I don’t think I’ve actually had a dinner party,” Kotb explained during a recent broadcast, before adding amid Bush Hager’s confused silence, “I don’t have a big table, I only have five seats at my table. I only have a round table.”

Bush Hager did not respond, prompting Kotb to add, “Don’t look at me with those sad eyes.”

Bush Hager replied, “Well, when did you have a barbecue? None of us [were invited.]” She then turned to the Today camera crew and asked each of them whether or not they were invited to Kotb’s barbecue.

“Hey Talia, were you invited to her barbecue? No? Hey Gavin, were you invited to the barbecue? Yeah Sean, what about you? No?” she asked the broadcast crew as Kotb laughed.

Maybe their invitations got lost in the mail!
