Jennifer Lopez Filed for Divorce From Ben Affleck on Meaningful Date
An insider told E! News at the time that the weekend-long affair was planned by interior designer and event planner Colin Cowie, with lifestyle guru Jay Shetty presiding over the actual ceremony.
But sadly it didn’t last. In court docs obtained by TMZ, Jennifer listed their date of separation as April 26, just before split rumors first started to emerge when the Selena star flew solo as co-chair for the 2024 Met Gala in New York City. At the time, Ben’s reps confirmed to E! News that he wasn’t present at the event because he was busy filming The Accountant 2 in Los Angeles.
And while the duo have been spotted together multiple times since April 26, they further raised eyebrows when it was revealed they were living apart and had put their Beverly Hills estate up for sale.
Last month, the two spent what would have been the second anniversary of their Las Vegas nuptials on opposite coasts, with neither Ben nor Jen acknowledging the date.
