Ex-NBA player wins GOP primary, faces Klobuchar for Senate

Former NBA player Royce White won the GOP primary to challenge Sen. Amy Klobuchar in November. White, who played for the Sacramento Kings in 2014, triumphed in a competitive field with strong backing from Trump allies, including Rep. Matt Gaetz, Kari Lake, and Mike Lindell.

His win over Joe Fraser, who had support from former GOP senators and a governor, signals a shift within the Minnesota GOP. White has raised over $125,000 and has $53,000 cash available for the general election.
