Hellmann’s launches Will Levis mayonnaise cologne for $8 a bottle

If you’ve ever wanted to smell like mayonnaise all day, you now have your opportunity.

Condiment brand Hellman’s announced Tuesday that it is coming out with a cologne in partnership with Titans quarterback Will Levis, aptly naming the fragrance “Will Levis No. 8.”

The $8-per-bottle — with 30 milliliters of cologne — “Parfum de Mayonnaise” comes after Levis signed a deal with the brand last year — which gave him a “lifetime supply” of the condiment — after he went viral in the lead-up to the 2023 NFL Draft for his habit of putting a bit of mayonnaise into his coffee.

“At the heart of the fragrance lies a daring mayonnaise accord,” the website reads. “The creamy and slightly tangy note adds an unexpected twist, mirroring Will Levis’s bold personality. The mayonnaise accord provides a rich, smooth texture to the fragrance, making it intriguingly complex and memorable.”

The scent also includes some hints of lemon, parsley vanilla and, fittingly enough, a hint of coffee to honor Levis’s seemingly unusual habit.

Last year, Hellman’s and Humphrey’s Street — a nonprofit Nashville coffee shop — partnered to come up with a drink dubbed “Mayo Mocha,” the Tennessean reported.

“This fragrance would not be complete without subtle coffee undertones reminiscent of Will’s signature mayonnaise-infused brew,” the website reads. “The coffee note brings a robust, slightly bitter edge filled with depth and warmth. It adds a comforting, familiar touch, grounding the fragrance in a sense of reliability and strength.”

Bottles of the scent were already sold out Tuesday and will be back up for sale on Wednesday.

As for his on-field play, Levis is coming off a freshman year in which he started nine games and threw for 1,808 yards and eight touchdowns.

In the Titans’ preseason-opening win over the 49ers on Saturday, Levis led two touchdown-scoring drives and went 4 of 5 passing for 35 yards.

We’ve got a couple of things we’ve got to clean up. But that was our number one goal, and I felt like we did a good job,” Levis told reporters.

He and the Titans now hope to improve upon a 6-11 season in 2023.
