West Ham set to complete Arnaut Danjuma transfer this week with ‘personal terms all agreed’

West Ham and David Moyes are set to complete their third signing of the summer next week with the impending arrival of Arnaut Danjuma from Spanish side Villareal, as per the Daily Mirror.

The Dutchman, who asked Villareal to leave earlier in the summer, was thought to be on Liverpool’s radar, but it is now the Irons that seem best positioned for his signature at present, with Moyes keen to add more firepower to his frontline as they once again look to impress domestically and in Europe.

And while it was initially thought that personal terms between the Irons and the player was set to be a serious issue, potentially endangering the deal, it is now reported that they have been ‘all agreed’, while a fee is hoped to be agreed for something lower than the £43m release clause that the 25 year old has in his contract.

The sake of Danjuma (C) if it goes through will be the highest sale that the Spanish side have ever made.

Danjuma, who netted 11 times in La Liga and 6 more in the Champions League, is able to play on the left or through the middle, which will hand Moyes another option when he looks to rest Michail Antonio.

More to come?

Moyes is thought to want six signings this summer, and has so far managed just three.

He is keen to add another option in central midfield, while the hammers are also thought to be trying hard for a return for Jesse Lingard, now a free agent.

Beyond that, much will likely depend on the future of Declan Rice, who may depart if a hefty offer is tabled, which would likely mean that it is reinvested into the squad.
