Most of the individual milestones this week focus on rookie wide receiver Malik Nabers.
Last week, Nabers broke the team record for receptions by a rookie (91), so he furthers his new record with each catch he makes. He currently has 97.
With three receptions this week, Nabers will become the fifth rookie in NFL history with at least 100 catches. Should he record nine, Nabers will break Puka Nacua’s league rookie record of 105, set in 2023, but will have competition from Las Vegas tight end Brock Bowers, who leads all rookies with 101 receptions this year, for the new record.
With five or more receptions this week, Nabers will become the first rookie in NFL history to record five-plus receptions in 13 games.
Nabers and fellow rookie, running back Tyrone Tracy Jr., can become the the first rookie teammates to each eclipse 1,000 yards of offense since Marques Colston and Reggie Bush of New Orleans in 2006.
Nabers has 971 total yards (2 rushing, 969 receiving) and Tracy has 984 (721 rushing and 263 receiving).
