2022 NBA Free Agency Tracker

The NBA offseason turns to its next and most chaotic page, the free agency period. Teams and their free agents will be able to sign deals on Thursday at 6 P.M est officially. After Kyrie Irving decided to sign his player option and stay in Brooklyn for at least one more season, there will be plenty of theatrics and drama to keep track of.

The main priorities to look after will be how the Warriors decide who to keep around after their championship run. What will they do to extend Jordan Poole and Andrew Wiggins? What’re they willing to spend to keep Gary Payton II and Kevon Looney on the roster? Will they extend Draymond Green and Klay Thompson this summer, or will that wait until 2023?

The next most dire free agency situations to keep track of will be the decisions of Jalen Brunson and Bradley Beal.

Beal could hit the market for the first time in his career, but multiple reports have said he will decline his player option and stay with the Wizards after signing a super-max. The Knick is increasingly doing whatever they can to lure Brunson to the Big Apple. They traded away Nerlens Noel and Alec Burkes to create $30M in cap space to sign Brunson.

By the way, Brunson is a restricted free agent. Dallas could decide to match any deal the Knicks could offer.

According to Adrian Wojnarowski, Taurean Prince and the Timberwolves have reportedly agreed to a two-year contract extension.

Ivica Zubac and his reps have reportedly agreed to a three-year extension with the Clippers, per Woj. The Clippers declining to sign his team option led to the agreement with Zubac.

Tony Bradley is reportedly opting into his player option and will remain with the Bulls next season, per Woj.
